CIVIC INNOVATION lab STAFF

 

 

Andradia Scovil, Program Coordinator


Andradia began her career with National City as a Corporate Credit Analyst in the banks’ Commercial Banking Development Program assisting in the underwriting of commercial loans of up to $50MM and later as an Estate Settlement Senior Associate in National City’s Private Client Group. Andradia, most recently accepted the Program Coordinator position with the Civic Innovation Lab where she assists in the growth and funding of startup businesses in the Greater Cleveland area. She enjoys serving her community by volunteering for nonprofits such as LATINA, Inc. and Minds Matter of Cleveland. She is an INROADS alumna, inductee in the 2009 Class of Kaleidoscope’s Cuarenta/Cuarenta Club and a 2009 Case Western Reserve University First Place Case Study Award recipient. Andradia received her Bachelors in Business Administration from Ohio University.

 

Jill Speegle, Media and Data Intern

The Civic Innovation Lab is currently sponsoring intern, Jill Speegle.  Jill will be working with Andradia Scovil as the Media and Data Intern. She is responsible for functions including, but not limited to: contributing information about The Lab and grantees to social media outlets, staying abreast of current events and issues in the region and nation as related to The Lab/grantees, data entry and record keeping. Jill is currently obtaining a Master Degree in Nonprofit Administration and Leadership at Cleveland State University. She holds a Bachelors in Applied Business and Marketing degree from The University of Akron. Jill brings to the Lab relevant skills related to work completed at the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center where she was serving as their Resource Development Intern. 




About our Founder

Jennifer Thomas, Founding Director

 

Jennifer is the founding director of the Civic Innovation Lab. She was previously the founder and director of ClevelandClicks, which was a member-supported group that held monthly breakfasts showcasing local technology businesses, organized educational forums for technology entrepreneurs and offered related resources. Prior to ClevelandClicks, Jennifer worked as a financial analyst, consultant, and was associate director of Business Planning for Sony Music in New York City. She has recently accepted the Program Director position for the Knight Foundation in Akron, OH. Jennifer has an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business and a BA from Denison University.
