CIVIC INNOVATION STAFF

 

Jennifer Thomas, Director

Jennifer has been the director of the Civic Innovation Lab since its inception in September 2003. She was previously the founder and director of ClevelandClicks, which was a member-supported group that held monthly breakfasts showcasing local technology businesses, organized educational forums for technology entrepreneurs and offered related resources. Prior to ClevelandClicks,
Jennifer worked as a financial analyst, consultant, and was associate director of Business Planning for Sony Music in New York City. Jennifer has an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business and a BA from Denison University.

 

 

Nichelle McCall, Program Coordinator

Nichelle joined the Civic Innovation Lab in July 2007. She was previously an Admission Counselor for Baldwin-Wallace College. During her tenure, she recruited and counseled students throughout Summit, Lorain, Lake, Geauga, and Portage counties. In addition to managing the largest recruitment territory, she coordinated new student events and programs, and served as a spokesperson throughout Northeast Ohio for the college. Nichelle is an active member of City Club New Leaders, The Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club, SOUP Network, and Footprints. She also serves on the advisory council for YWCA Women's Leadership Committee. She enjoys giving her time to volunteering around the Greater Cleveland Community. She has spent time in Lesotho, Africa twice, where she assisted the citizens with community development. Nichelle earned a BA from Baldwin-Wallace College.
