The purpose of Sankoré Vanguard is to prepare African American men for leadership in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Young men join Sankoré Vanguard during their seventh grade year and maintain membership throughout middle school and high school. Sankoré Vanguard offers a wealth of benefits and opportunities to the young men who are members, to parents, and to the African American community as a whole.
