CityProwl Cleveland
CityProwl Cleveland encourages Clevelanders to explore Cleveland's urban communities, by providing compelling and facinating stories about Cleveland and told by Clevelanders, using easily accessible, audio, walking tours of the city. Her project offers Clevelanders and visitors an opportunity to explore all of Cleveland's unique buildings and neighborhoods, at their own pace and during their own free time.
Cleveland Design District
The District of Design will develop a design district, along the Euclid Corridor in downtown Cleveland, which will be comprised of street-level consumer product showrooms, highlighting the product offering of regional consumer product companies. The Cleveland Design District will offer one-stop-shopping for a wide variety of products, enabling consumer interaction and representing a premium buyer experience. The concept builds on existing resources and assets, including the history of success in design (Nottingham Spirk), consumer product manufacturing (many regional brands), design education (The Cleveland Institute of Art) and the abundance of appealing commercial space (downtown buildings and live/work lofts).
Entrepreneurs EDGE
The Entrepreneurs EDGE has created and delivered programs and services that help entrepreneurs, entrepreneurial companies and mid-market companies in Northeast Ohio to grow the value of their companies and to actively participate in efforts to enhance regional economic development.
Society of Urban Professionals
Society of Urban Professional Inc (SOUP) offers premier networking events where professionals in Northeast Ohio can socialize, connect and enrich their lives both personally and professionally. Their network gives you access to a local community of professionals, entreprenuers and community leaders (most between the ages of 25 and 50). SOUP luncheons are held on the third Wednesday of every other month from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in various downtown restaurants. The luncheons offer members the opportunity to be inspired by a guest speaker, interact and meet other professionals.
Walk + Roll Cleveland
Walk + Roll Cleveland encourages people to walk and bicycle in their daily lives by: 1. Organizing human-powered neighborhood events that combine fun with active living, learning and participating, 2. Advocating with politicians and community leaders so that they consider cyclists and pedestrians in public policy, 3. Promoting and encouraging biking and walking through press releases and outreach to the media. This project is expected to be a catalyst to draw more visitors to the Rockefeller Park, the Cultural Gardens, University Circle and its museums. Bringing more people to the area will help further the renaissance that is underway in the neighborhood.
