The Influentials: Terry Travis

April, 2008

TerryFounder, Cleveland365.com

Until Terry Travis started Cleveland365. com in 2005, the town’s young-professional and emerging-leader organizations mostly kept to themselves, doing small-scale projects. Then Travis brought black, white, Asian and Hispanic professionals’ groups together at his quarterly “Professionals in the City” events, attracting 1,200 to 1,700 people to the Cleveland Botanical Garden and the House of Blues. Travis helps people and companies form new emerging-leader groups, then helps them join forces on projects from job fairs to community service. Travis is also affiliated with 10,000 Little Micro-Ideas to Keep You Believing in Cleveland (www.10000littleideas.com), a new group pushing the young-leaders crowd from talk to action with an agenda for growing Cleveland’s new economy.
